TACS Ltd., started on a journey with Communisis PLC (Speke & Crewe) four years ago to develop their workforce. The initial programme was designed to benchmark where the workforce were with regard to competence.
Whilst working through the first programme it became evident there was an opportunity to develop a continuous improvement programme for future development and to give the workforce and the company the tools and techniques to create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business which would add value and give learners a recognised qualification.
Working with Communisis PLC, trainers Rob Dignen and Albert Jolly devised an employee development programme and the success culminated in the whole learner cohort feeding back to the management team on what they achieved on the 12 month programme. Three groups fed back and the response from the management team was extremely positive, so much so, that the next cohorts have been enrolled on the programme.
The intention is that a culture of continuous improvement is cascaded throughout the whole of the Communisis Group over the coming years.
