Full Job Description

As part of this challenging role, you will demonstrate the ability to:

Sell the company services strongly and ethically

Canvas for new business and promoting the other services offered by the organisation

Maintain the identity and reputation of the brand in the region

Book viewings and valuations

Negotiate offers between all parties

Handle objections and closing sales

Advertise – using the company website and other appropriate media

Generate and book viewings for available properties

Represent the organisation as a first point of contact to current and prospective clients

Maintain a customer database to match prospective buyers to available properties

Using your initiative to deal with customer complaints

Deal with outbound correspondence; including letter writing 

Complete general office administration duties as needed 

Deliver exceptional customer service 

Deal with all incoming inquiries 

Register applicant’s details and property requirements 

Obtain references for tenants

Training to be provided

The candidate will be working towards an Intermediate Level 2 Residential Property in Lettings & Management Framework. The qualification also consists of Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (if required).

 The qualification will be achieved through work based evidence throughout.

A genuine interest in joining the residential lettings sector and be keen to learn the necessary skills and experience to progress within the company

A good level of literacy and numeracy skills

A confident and friendly approach with clients

Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Good negotiation, sales and marketing skills

The ability to make good working relationships with a wide range of people

Knowledge of towns and villages within County Durham preferable but not essential

The ability to work under pressure

Good organisational skills

Excellent time management skills

The ability to work to targets and the determination to achieve personal and team targets

The ability to work well within a team as well as being self-motivated

Professional and enthusiastic

Adherence to our professional office environment dress code

Qualification Required

GCSE's A - C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
