Rick Nicholson - Managing Director

 

 

I started the business in April 2006 following a career in Engineering spanning 36 years. I trained as apprentice in Mechanical Engineering with National Coal Board in 1970 and have had a progressive career in Maintenance and Manufacturing. The skills I have learned over the years enabled me to start the business and develop my skills even further.

I enjoy meeting existing and potential customers and enthuse about how we can help them develop their workforce to maximise bottom line profits.

Albert Jolly - Internal Verifier/Assessor

 

 

I joined TACS Ltd., in 2007 as an assessor having served 32 years in the Engineering Sector as a time served Mechanical Fitter with British Coal before joining Rolls Royce Engineering based at Clarke Chapman in Gateshead as a fitter, then supervisor in the pump division, carrying out repairs, building and testing of various types of pumps, both in house and around the country working on site.
Since joining TACS Ltd., I have progressed and qualified as an Internal Verifier covering a range of differing qualifications. I completed my PTTLS course and over a period of time I have been delivering CompEx mechanical courses on site.

Adele Yorke - Assessor/Trainer/Senior Administrator

 

 

I joined the team in 2007 as an Administrator for the company. My role has evolved to include additional responsibilities such as Quality/Compliance in relation to our sub - contracts with funding bodies and looking after company policies which govern management processes. Since working for TACS Ltd I have achieved Levels 2 and 3 in Business and Administration and ISO 9001:2008 Foundation course. My background is predominantly in customer service & sales with a varied working history. I  am currently an assessor delivering apprenticeships levels 2 &3 in the property sector.

Kate Jones - Administration/Assessor/Trainer 

 

I began working for TACS Ltd in 2010 as a Modern Apprentice, undertaking a level 2 in Business Administration. Having worked in retail from the age of 16, the opportunity to take on a new challenge was greatly welcomed. After completing my Level 2, I was offered a permanent position with TACS Ltd. I then went on to achieve my Level 3 also in Business Administration.
My role within the business has grown and developed and I am now an Assessor / Trainer, taking learners through the Business Administration and Customer Services NVQ Levels 1, 2 & 3. I have also successfully achieved a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

Rob Dignen - Assessor/Internal Verifier/Teacher 

 

 

I joined the company in 2009 and have worked in training for the last 12 years.
During that time I have developed and delivered ‘Lean’ training in many companies’ across the country. I thrive on delivering quality training and seeing my learners grow in confidence. I really enjoy what I do and developing my skills further.
I am a qualified assessor, verifier and teacher.
Prior to working in training I worked in various roles at Samsung Electronics for over twelve years which gave me the skills, knowledge and confidence to do what I do now.
